A little more from the fish market and a walk back

As we were unceremoniously leaving the fish market, we watched an enormous stack of Styrofoam being pushed around by a front end loader.

With all the fish coming in everyday, there must be tons of this stuff left over. I hope it can be recycled.

Here is one of the little LP movers that I talked about earlier. They have huge wheels that control both direction and forward/reverse. They really move, and while we didn't get hit by one, I could see that happening easily.

Fish, fish, and more fish. Hard to believe how much fish there is in the world.

We walked out. Luckily, we now carry a small compass with us to make sure we are heading in the right direction.

While we didn't really have an idea to go to this park, it was closed.

We passed some fancy buildings in Ginza on our walk home.

The city, indeed the whole country, has sort of a whimsical attitude to public spaces:

Just walking on a crossover.

Goo is a search engine.

The famous crows of Tokyo. They are everywhere.

I like these. It seems that every municipality has its own clever signs telling you not to smoke and walk. I am not sure why you can't smoke and walk, but there you are.

I posted a video of this on my fb page. That little carousel with the fish on it is spinning.

We did get handed these as we were being kicked out of the market. Who knew?
